Marie and I were fortunate to participate in the Imperial Valley Economic Development Corporation’s tenth annual Energy Summit held at the Imperial Palms Resort in Holtville, CA this year. Barrett’s Biological Surveys set up our table in the expo area and met quite a few contacts, reconnected with old friends, and sat in on some interesting panels.

Marie was able to put together a beautiful quilt to raffle off to a lucky winner, after leaving a business card at our table.  We had a BUOW artificial burrow on display as well as a beautiful collage of wildlife viewed in Imperial County.

Meredith Garcia with IVEDC won the drawing for the quilt!  If anyone is interested in purchasing one, I know who makes them!
